finely carved in the form of a recumbent goose grasping in its beak a spray of lotus, its wings folded along its body and its web feet neatly tucked beneath, its head turned backward resting against the lotus pod, a large blossom falling by its side, the pale celadon stone with light russet veining, wood stand

Condition

The group carving is in good overall condition. There are a couple of small nicks to the edge of the leaf on the beside the seed pod. The actual colour is less yellow, more celadon-white compared to the catalogue illustration.
