the vase of globular form supported on an angled rounded foot, sweeping up to a slender tubular neck, the opaque glass of bright even mustard-yellow colour; the tripod censer overlaid with a multicoloured layer of glass on a white opaque ground, carved with five chilong picked out in either translucent green, red or blue, or opaque yellow and pink overlays, all clambering in various positions among clouds, the domed cover set with a green and yellow ruyi finial
Condition
The vase is in good condition. There are some expected light surface scratches under the base. The neck contour is slightly uneven.
The tripod censer: There are some black inclusions and air gaps to the rim, as well as some occasional air bubbles in the opaque white ground. There is a minute nick to the edge of the ruyi finial and some nibbling along the edges of the overlays. Otherwise the censer and cover are in good condition.
