Description
- glass
of baluster form rising from a recessed base and flared foot to a waisted neck and everted rim, the opaque milky white glass body overlaid with a layer of bright translucent blue glass, carved through the ground in varied reliefs with two large peony blossoms borne on a continuous meandering foliate stem, between plain blue overlay bands encircling the foot and rim

Condition
There is a 0.7 cm restored chip to the footrim together with minute occasional nibbling around the mouth rim or along the edges of the carving. Otherwise the vase is good condition.
