Description

the ovoid body tapering to a slightly flared foot, sweeping up to a waisted neck and flanged rim, the opaque white ground overlaid with a layer of bright translucent blue glass, deftly carved to the white ground in varied levels of relief with two large camellia blossoms and attendant buds borne on foliate stems, set between a plain collar band around the rim and jagged rocks encircling the foot

Condition

There is a 0.7 cm., polished chip to the rim of one. There are further minute nicks or tiny nibbles to the rims or along the edges of the carving of both as well as some expected wear to the base.
