of cylindrical form resting on a slightly recessed base, naturalistically carved in the form of a three-nodes section of bamboo, the concave tiers divided by finely incised internodes, the well-figured wood patinated to a warm chestnut-brown colour

Condition

There are some expected scratches and occasional surface wear on the exterior, consistent with age and usage, including some scratches forming a line encircling the exterior just above the upper node. Otherwise the brushpot is in good condition.
