Condition

The canvas has been lined. Some isolated, small areas of craquelure located in the background, only visible upon close inspection; otherwise the work appears in good overall condition, ready to hang. Under ultraviolet light there are some areas of infiling located mainly to the figure's hair, in the flowers in the foreground and about the edges. Held in a gilt plaster frame.
