Condition

The board appears to be sound. Some minor craquelure in the thicker passages of white impasto in the sky and lake, only visible upon close inspection; otherwise the work appears in good overall condition. Under ultraviolet light there appear to be no signs of retouching. Held in an attractive ebony Dutch 17th century style rippled frame under glass; unexamined out of frame.
