Condition
Original canvas. There are faint, isolated areas of craquelure in the sky. A small protrusion near centre of canvas with a fleck of paint loss. The surface is slightly dirty and should benefit from a light clean, otherwise the work appears generally sound.
Ultraviolet light reveals a few small areas or retouching, one near centre of the sky, otherwise mainly located about the edges.
Held in a gilt plaster frame.
