4 volumes, folio (16 3/4 x 11 1/2 in; 426 x 295 mm), title pages printed in red and black, marked 'Special Copy enlarged to 4 volumes and illustrated' and erroneously dated '1880,' 8vo text leaves inlaid to size, illustrated with 1,080 prints and manuscripts, either inlaid to size or tipped onto blank leaves, comprising, 17 manuscript and signed items, including an autograph letter signed from George Cruikshank and many of the prints coloured, by George Cruikshank, Isaac Cruikshank, Robert Cruikshank, John Leech, Thomas Rowlandson, James Gillray and others; early 20th-century red morocco by The Hampstead Bindery; extremities rubbed and scuffed, occasional light spotting, some offsetting.
