Catalogue Note
One of the 15 copies H.C. on brown wrapper paper ("papier d'emballage"), unnumbered, from an edition limitied to 150. Inscribed by the artist to the Art collector and Dubuffet's long-term friend Enid Bisset: "Avec l'amicale salut de Jean Dubuffet à Enid Bisset."
Joseph and Enid Bisset were close friends with Jean and Lili Dubuffet. From 1955 to 1968, they donated their art collection to the Allen Memorial Art Museum, including the correspondence of the artist and his wife and the Bissets.
