7 volumes, 8vo (9 1/4 x 5 3/4 in.; 235 x 145 mm, uncut), with inserted slip regarding unauthorized printing in part 2; some foxing, dampstaining, and offsetting, a few leaves somewhat browned. Original tan or chocolate brown printed wrappers; some edge tears, soiling and stains, backstrips renewed or repaired, worming in lower edge of upper wrapper in part 2. In a blue half-morocco drop-box; upper hinge split.
