Etched frontispiece in each volume and 21 plates after George Cruikshank, the cancel title in each vol,  4-page publisher's advertisement at end volume one, 2-page advertisement at beginning of vol 3, half-titles in vols 1-2; plates browned with offsetting, some marginal spotting, lower edge of second vol half-title torn. Publisher's reddish-brown fine-diaper cloth, covers with a blindstamped arabesque design, spines lettered and ruled in gold; joints broken with some mends, spines chipped with a few stains, corners bumped and torn, a few scrapes on covers.
