Together, 2 vols., 8vo (7 1/8 x 4 1/2 in.; 181 x 114 mm). One gathering loose in Essays, scattered foxing in Second Series.   Publisher's cloth, black and brown respectively, spines gilt-lettered, covers with blindstamped borders, yellow endpapers; some wear and fading, stain on upper cover of Second Series.  Half brown morocco gilt slipcase, chemises.
