possibly a guardian figure, standing with feet apart, carved with a devilfish on each leg, another emerging from the open mouth, mask-like face, with exaggerated pointed oval eye rims beneath arching brows, and a deeply hollowed section on the back with a spine in shallow relief; painted in red and blue pigments.
Condition
Good overall condition withtypical wear for age. There is a stable hairline crack between the legs and small chips to the devilfish on the legs.
