Condition

Overall in good restored condition, surface re-finished. Age crack to left side. Handles probably original. Old marks and scratches throughout commensurate with age and use.

Catalogue Note

Haugley Park, Suffolk was built around 1620 for John Sulyard and remained in the Sulyard family for over two hundred years whereupon it became a seat of the Pretyman family. From 1924 to 1956, it was owned by Turner Henderson, a retired tea planter.
