  • 210cm. high, 103cm. wide, 61cm. deep; 6ft. 10½in., 3ft. 4½., 2ft.
the double domed top with a moulded cornice above a pair of arched panelled doors enclosing pigeon holes, folio divisions and seven small drawers above two candle slides, the bureau with a fitted interior comprising a central cupboard flanked by two secret drawers four small drawers and pigeon holes, above a slide enclosing a well, with two dummy drawers and two short and two long drawers below, on bracket feet

Condition

Overall good condition. Refinished. Age cracks to both sides of the bureau. Minor losses to veneers. Some patching including a patch to the left side of the flap. The lock to the flap on the bureau has been replaced and there are patches around the escutcheon. Age cracks to the dummy drawers adjacent to the loppers. Minor losses to veneers on feet which are scuffed. Interior scuffed, scratched, marked and with losses to moulding. Some of the dividers are cracked. Ink stains and other marks and minor loses to veneers commensurate with use. Brasses later. Overall with marks and scratches consistent with age and use.
