Condition

These globes are both in `country house' condition. Both are very worn with losses, tears, chips and cracks to the globes throughout which will require expert restoration. The brass could require cleaning according to taste. The base of the celestial globe is cracked and repaired. The compass on the terrestrial globe is cracked and chipped. The timbers are faded and could benefit from re-polishing.
