  • each 33cm. high, 19cm. wide, 15cm. deep;1ft. 1in., 7¾in., 6in.
one with a male child in drapery, the other with a female in a ribbon-tied hat and drapery on a shaped rectangular base each side with a scrolled corbel above a Vitruvian frieze and female mask with military trophies, each side with ribbon-tied muscial trophies on boldly scrolled feet, each with a gilt-bronze and iron support

Condition

In overall good conserved condition. Colour of gilding more golden and less greenish and more natural and attractive than in the catalogue photograph.Minor wear to gilding in places as visible from the catalogue photograph.There are some casting cracks which are normal. There is some variation on one in the colour of the gilding eg the musical trophy mount and scrolled corbel on the right side and the acanthus leaf on the top of the leg on the rear left side of the same one. The gilding on the front scrolled support is completely worn on one.
