Description

  • Approx 180cm. high, 140cm. diameter; 5ft. 11in., 4ft. 7in.
with a foliate corona and a band of acanthus interposed by flowerheads suspending pear shaped drops above a band of berried laurel leaves intersected by four arrowheads suspending swags of needle-shaped drops and beads with a central berried laurel band supporting twenty-four scrolled candle-arms with a facetted pear shaped finial, the whole hung with beads and drops; some drops replaced

Condition

This chandelier of impressive scale is in very good conserved condition. The bronze drip pans have been drilled for previous electrical fittings. Tole parts have been regilt and ivory painted section refreshed; some drops replaced.
