Condition

In overall good conserved condition. Attractive model of good proportions and nicely carved. Colour of tops less greyish and more violet and white and the bases are less greenish and the gilding is more golden and attractive than in the catalogue photograph. Both veneered marble tops have been restored and one has areas of infill. The gilding and silvering has wear in places especially on some of the silvered rocaille cartouches on the legs and there has been some retouching. Old minor marks chips and scratches commensurate with age and normal usage.
