Arabic and Persian manuscript on polished paper, 13 lines to the page written horizontally and diagonally in black and gold nasta'liq script, opening illuminated headpiece in colours and gold, opening double page with large gold scrolling flowers in the margins, final folio with some marginal glosses, simple leather binding with vegetal cartouches

In very good overall condition, pages clean and illumination bright, as viewed.

Umm Salma was a daughter of Fath ’Ali Shah and many manuscripts copied by her are recorded and they are all in naskh and one together with shikasteh. No other manuscript in nasta’liq is recorded.
