Arabic manuscript on paper, 381 leaves plus 9 flyleaves, 15 lines to the page written in neat black naskh script within cloud bands throughout, Persian translation written diagonally in the inner margins, 2 double-page illuminated frontispieces in colours and gold, followed by a further corresponding headpiece for surah al-Baqarah, surah headings in blue against illuminated foliate panels, 2 double-page illuminated finispieces, floral lacquer binding, with flap

In good overall condition, some wear to binding, illumination bright and ink bold, tear to final flyleaf, as viewed.
