the fritware body with thuluth calligraphic inscription painted underglaze in cobalt blue between spiralling tendrils moulded in relief with turquoise highlights, on an overglaze lustre ground
Condition
With two breaks in centre with associated restoration, including overpainting, some abrasion to surface, notably to elevated moulded inscription and edge, areas with bright lustre, two hooks for hanging, part of old collection label remaining to reverse, as viewed.
