Measurements 323cm wide across the top, 333cm. across the bottom, 427cm long left side, 439cm long right side. Pile evenly low to knot bars, some small areas of flat stitch and repiling scattered in field, barely noticeable. End guards partially reduced, secured, fringes trimmed, some minor areas of rebinding of side cords. One section loose cord top left, easily repaired. Might benefit from a clean, otherwise ready to use. Specialist Comment: Lots of unusual things about this carpet. A Typical Heriz has a strong central medallion and corner design, a single colour field is rare, white is even rarer. This example has all the best features of old Heriz carpets, good range of colours (all natural), well spaced motifs and lots of personality and charm, well balanced by a well proportioned border.
