Description

Condition

Measurements 120cm wide across the top, 119cm. across the bottom, 169cm long left side, (172cm. down the centre at longest), 168cm long right side. Pile closely sheared overall - 1-2mm. Some oxidisation to the dark brown and dark red with areas low to knot-bars. Lower end with original flatwoven finish and knotted fringe heads. Upper end with mainly original flatweave and knot-heads, some restorations, side cords reovercast. Slightly ruckled, might benefit from being re-blocked. Specialist Comment: Very nice colour tones, especially the greens. Striking, almost sampler like it its use of multiple motifs.
