both with raised rims, the one with handles featuring Dolmabahçe Palace painted within a polychrome floral frame with gilt highlights on a blue ground, the other painted on a red ground with a scene of the Golden Horn and Galata districts of Islanbul, including passing steamboats in a gilt frame decorated with floral bouquets
Condition
Both in overall good condition, brightly painted colours, the tray with a painted red background missing handles, with some light scratches particularly to edges and on base, one drill hole near top of central painting, the blue tray with some pale white residues from cups and bowls, the external edge slightly abraded, scratched to underside as consistent with age and use, as viewed.
