Description

  • maroquin, gouache and gold
comprising 2 boards, the outer of each decorated with gilt-stamped cartouches filled with chinoiserie cloud bands and interlacing arabesques, doublures with central filigree-work cartouches, outer polychrome cartouches set against a reddish-brown ground decorated with gold scrolls 

Condition

In fair overall condition, cracking to leather outer boards, wear and abrasions, doublures clean and fresh with filigreework largely intact, losses to spine, as viewed.
