- 23cm. 9in. high
the porcelain dial painted with winged cherubs amidst billowing clouds and indistinctly signed **** Pere & Fils, Horlogers du Roi, Turin, subsidiary alarm dial, with gilt border on a gros bleu ground, the repeating gong striking movement with lever platform escapement, the backplate with Drocourt stamp and numbered 29265, the rococo case inset with painted plaques to the top and sides depicting putti at play
Condition
Dial in good condition, signature rubbed, minute hand poorly repaired. Movement is complete but is very dirty and needs clean and service. Case in generally good condition and retaining much of the original gilding, a little rubbed on the highlights, porcelain panels in very good condition, rear glass panel, chipped and repaired. With the original numbered winder.
