10¾-inch enamel dial with finely pierced and engraved hands, the movement with spring barrels, verge escapement with silk suspension, striking the hours and half hours on two bells, the cadrature mounted on the backplate, stamped 3823, the substantial fusee and chain musical movement with 17.5cm. pinned cylinder playing one of six airs at the hour or at will on a carillon of twelve bells with twenty two hammers, the waisted case painted with flowers on a peach ground, urn surmount above foliate, mask and musical trophy mounts; on a conforming bracket

Condition

Dial has old repairs at XII and VII and some minor hairs cracks to the edge, minute hand repaired. Clock movement is complete and would just run at cataloguing but is very much in need of a clean. Musical movement is complete and running at cataloguing, some attention required to tune change mechanism and would benefit from a clean and overhaul. Case in generally good condition, mounts retain some original gilding, decoration refreshed, horizontal cracks to bracket. With pendulum, clock and musical movement winders and a case key.
