- 54cm., 20 1/2 in. long overall
oval, pierced foliate handle, the basket applied with gilt vine leaves, grapes and pink marble
Condition
The basket is slightly uneven on the foot, there is a 2cm loss to the gilding on the inside of the basket, otherwise overall excellent condition

Catalogue Note
The Armos factory was founded by Matheos Armaos who expanded the business in Greece and outside. It is now under the leadership of Dimitri Armaos who graduated at Central St. Martins College of Art & Design, London (Jewellery Design) and then Gemology (GG) at the Gemological Institute of America. Armaos now has three shops, one in Athens, and two in the fashionable surrounding areas of Kephyssia and Glyfada.
