Condition
In overall good original condition. Old very marks. chips and scratches commensurate with age and normal usage. The detail to the decoration is most attractive. There are some scattered areas of losses to the varnish but this does not detract from the piece. There are some very minor scattered construction cracks but these are hardly noticeable and can be left. The door to the upper section is slightly stiff and needs easing. There is a large vertical crack in the back panel and other scattered cracks and bubbling to the decoration internally which will need attention. There is also a raised minor section of wood at the base of the back panel which will need some attention. There is an old repair to the front right canted corner to the top which has been touched up with gilt paint.
