Description

the cabinet decorated with Chinoiserie scenes and with a pair of doors enclosing an arrangement of ten various drawers, on a giltwood stand ( re-gilded) with strapwork ornament, on turned legs with pad feet

Condition

This piece is in country house condition. There is some wear and fading to the colours on the outside of the cabinet. Both doors have restored vertical cracks. Surfaces generally un even. The stand has been extensively re-gilded and still has some losses to gilding. Doors slightly warped. The interior is in very good condition.
