- 26cm. high, 37cm. wide,11cm. deep; 10¼in., 1ft. 2½in., 4¼in.
the white enamel dial with Roman numerals in the form of a woven basket carried on the back of a negro in a hat, carrying a flask and with a walking stick on a shaped base with canted sides, the front mounted with ribbon-tied palms suspending a monkey seated on a rope, the corners with a ribbon-tied basket with two parrots on disc feet
Condition
In overall good conserved condition. Quite a arare model. Colour of gilding lesss greenish more golden natural and attractive than in the catalogue photograph. Chip to winding hole and hairline crack to dial which is not visible in the catalogue photograph. Left eye of the Porter is missing but this can easily be replaced. Attractive detail to casting.
