Condition

In overall good condition and can be placed immediately. The interior drawers are also mounted with plain marbles which are most attractive. Evidence of old minor worm to the legs of the stand which appears to be no longer active and which is visible in the catalogue photograph. There is a restored break to the rear stretcher but this has been well executed and is hardly noticeable. Th gilt bronze putto has been added to the niche. Some scattered very minor hairline cracks which are hardly noticeable. There is a minor crack in the moulding on the left side of the cabinet which is coming away slightly which can easily be filled or left. The ebony moulding around the rectangular lapis lazuli stone above the far left column is now missing but can easily be restored.
