each with a turban with a gilt-bronze acanthus leaf decoration on the top and frogging on the front, with a draped cloak in alabastro fiorito, the tunic in rosso antico, with gilt-bronze frogging, on a grey marble socle and stepped black marble plinth

In overall good conserved condition. The colours overall are less greenish and slightly darker and much more natural and attractive than in the catalogue photograph. Old restoration to the cloak of one on the right side of it which has been very well executed and is hardly noticeable due to the striations in the marble. Restored break in the grey socle and very minor chips to the base. The socles appear to be of the same marble but one has more reddish tones than the other. Some grey coloured infill to the socle of one where it has been chipped but this is hardly noticeable. Old restored break to the socle of the other which has been well executed. Some old very minor scattered chips generally and scratches which are hardly noticeable. Very minor chip to rest waistcoat at top left side on one.
