Description

  • overall height 13.5cm., 5 1/4 in
of compressed globular form, painted on each side with a landscape panel, set with a bamboo moulded spout and handle, the finial of the cover surmounted with a silver-gilt peacock and chain, with a pierced wood stand, haircracks and minor chips.

Condition

Network of hair/glaze cracks to lower part of spout. Haircrack directly beneath spout, approx. 3in.length. Haircrack around lower handle terminal. Small chip to rim of cover. Shallow chip to inner rim of teapot. Minor fritting to spout.
