  • 8.1cm., 3 1/4 in. wide
of rectangular scalloped form, decorated overall with flowers and scrolls in taille d'épargne on a navy-blue ground, the lid and base centred with flower sprays within a cartouche, the thumbpiece also enamelled to match, incuse maker's mark BM on lid and base, the rim inscribed: Bautte & Moynier à Genève

Condition

inside with a few dents, some restoration to blue enamel (corners particularly), 2 small chips to back left corner of lid.
