Condition
Cabinet is slightly darker than shown in the catalogue illustration with more contrast between the colour of the body of the piece and the dark of the doors. Small losses to veneer, particularly to edges of the inner of the doors, a small area to the shelf above the doors and to its left edge. Some bubbling to veneer on doors and some possible previous restoration to splits within the veneer of the doors. Some wear to patina on metal mounts and some screws missing, with commensurate lifting to mount. Some water damage resulting in spotting to the lower parts of doors and some joints slightly opening on top and on feet. Interior is fitted for shelves but no shelves are present. In general the wood is dry and marked and would benefit from a professional enhancing to feed the wood and bring out all the quality and nuances of the piece.
