Condition
Good overall condition, consistent with original use of the table as a library table.
The metal parts with some traces of oxidizing, chips and losses to the metal painting, revealing the metal. Some scratches and scattered stains. One of the sides of the lighting structure presents some bruises (approx. 13). The inside is white lacquered with some scratches and traces of oxydizing, stains and traces of wear consistent with age and normal use. The glass has been replaced. The top with some traces of discoloration on each side. The wood with some scratches, minor dents and traces of wear in the veneer, consistent with its intentional use. Minor chips to the corners of the top. The feet with some traces of use, scratches and dents, consistent with normal use. A few traces of restoration to the inside of one foot at the base, visible on catalogue illustration, a loss to the inside of the opposite foot. The underside of the top with a some dirt. The lighting system not tested or guaranteed.
Nevertheless an iconic and striking piece.
