Condition
Some elements including internal central section and one back panel replaced. Red sections relacquered. Internal right-facing front side support loose, and where it would fix at top there is a repair to the wood structure which is visible externally, and at the bottom a loss to the wood of approx 10 cm in length. A number of other repairs and retouching. Door with scratches and surface abrasion commensurate with age and use. Piece comes without shelves or elements for hanging. There are 8 shelves supports, one of which is lacquered red, 16 hangers, 4 other hangers and 4 chromium plated metal hangers (photos available on request). The upright lock mechanism to right-hand facing door has come unfixed at the top. Keys missing. One back foot has been resoldered. Nevertheless an iconic and striking piece.
