Catalogue Note

This pair of rocking armchairs are very similar to a more common pair of armchair by Frits Henningsen from the early 30's with identical armrests. The pieces of furniture designed by the artist are noted for their elegance, above all for the soft curves in the arms of his chairs and sofas, that combine style and comfort together with the use of precious exotic wood such as rosewood or mahogany.
