- en plomb patiné noire ; sur des plinthes en marbre blanc
- Haut. (totale) 105 cm; height (overall) 41 1/3 in.
à décor d'armoiries dans des écussons rocailles, encadrés de putti et surplombés l'un d'une couronne et l'autre d'un heaume; les couvercles godronnés surmontés d'une pomme de pin; les anses en forme de masques; sur des pieds cannelés

Condition
Very good early 18th century cast, very good condition overall and very crisp in all details. Few minor scratches to the surface with some dirt in the crevices which can be easily remouved.
2 fixing holes to each side of both square plinthes.
The lids cast integrally with the vases, with few minor casting fissures. 1 casting joint visible to one of the lid.

La forme de ces vases est dérivée des modèles antiques et notamment du Vase Médicis (Florence, Palais des Offices). Les armoiries d'azur à cinq croissants d'argent sont celles de la famille de Pinto, à La Haye.
