Condition
The illustration is accurate. There are some losses to the marquetry throughout. The brass and the bronze are tarnished. The bronze was not gilded but varnished, which is usual at this time.
Some very nice details.
It would benefit from cleaning to get back a nice contrast between tortoiseshell and brass.
