en forme de porte-monnaie, le couvercle à charnière orné d'une plaque peinte de fleurs, ainsi que d'émail bleu-gris translucide répété sur la base, les montures en or ciselées de vases et d'une lyre, les bordures ornées de fleurs et autres ornements sur fond en émail turquoise, poinçon de maître R entre deux points dans un oval, poinçon de ville de Genève et poinçon de contrôle
in form of a purse, the hinged cover painted with a bouquet within gold mounts chased with vases and a lyre, with grey translucent enamel panels on a concentric waves engine-turned ground, similarly decorated on the base, the borders with flowers in dark blue, gold and white on a turquoise ground, reeded sides, with its key, maker's mark R between two pellets in an oval, Geneva town mark and control mark

Condition
right enamel panel on lid restored, the others have probably been sprayed over, movement currently functioning but not guaranteed by Sotheby's.
