Provenance

Acquired in Tibet in the 1970s.

Condition

The thangka is still in its original textile mounting. There is overall loss to the pigments particularly along a vertical crease extending from the upper rim down to the lower rim (visible in the catalogue illustration). There is also light loss to the cloth visible on the back of the painting and some staining to the cloth visible on the back of the painting.
