sculpté en léger relief de dames de cour sur des terrasses plantées de pin à l'ombre d'un pavillon d'un côté et de l'autre d'un décor incisé d'hirondelles perchées dans des prunus en fleurs, socle en ivoire ajouré orné de dragons stylisés (2)
Condition
The ivory screen has been professionally restored : the three panels and borders were falling apart and have been put together, a 1cm loss to the reticulated lower border (visible on catalogue illustration) and other smaller losses and replacements, the two hinges to adapt the screen to his stand have been replaced with pieces of old ivory. The stand with one dragon ornament missing (visible on catalogue illustration) and two cracks to the lower border and to the upper one which is wrapped.
