On both covers there is wear to the key fret borders framing the panels. There is also some wear to the gold and coloured woven silk elements across the upper part of both panels And the lower parts of both panels where they were folded over the headrest and seat of the chairs. There is a small stained area to the centre of one panrls, The colours on both covers are of a richer, brighter tone than the catalogue illustration suggests.
