Condition
The figure is carved from a single piece of wood. The left hand side of the lotus base and the figure's left foot are separately attached and may have been carved separately and then attached. Parts of the figure's left hand are missing as is the thumb of the figure's right hand. There are overall losses to the raised parts of the carving. The figure has been covered with a thin layer of gesso and lacquer and traces of red and green pigments can be found. There are losses to the wood on the shoulders and back of the figure. A metal stand has been attached to the back of the figure. The letters 'P25' are written in red on the lower part of the back.
