Condition
This work appears to be in generally good overall condition. There are few scattered tiny retouching visible under raking light. The tonality of blue is warmer compared to the catalogue illustration. On the left panel there are minor traces of wear by the left corners and there are three tiny scratches with pigment loss towards the center of the upper edge and of the right edge and along the lower right edge. There is a minor and small trace of crease along the lower right edge.

"La scritta bianca sembra fluttuare sullo sfondo tratteggiato in blu e articola per così dire la lingua in forma scritta in uno spazio immaginario. Boetti mostra qui la lingua come mezzo che, paragonabile alla musica , riempie gli spazi tra le persone con parole e contenuti. Gli spazi interpersonali diventano così spazi di dialogo, di comunicazione, di scambio di idee. Scrittura e lingua sono le basi semantiche della nostra comunicazione sociale e le nuove generazioni devono esserne sempre rese coscienti. Così, attraverso i lavori biro, nasce nell'osservatore un'idea complessa della realtà della lingua e delle immagini che vengono evocate da questa lingua sulla base di un semplice ordine composto dalle lettere."
