The album includes HRH Prince Albert Victor's arrival in Calcutta in 1891, with the Viceroy Lord Lansdowne, hunting on elephants in the Nepal Terai with the king of Nepal, and group portraits of the Nepalese royal family; other photographs show a series of Suffield with his ponies, 10 views in the Himalayas by Bourne, staff picnics, camps, views in Delhi and Calcutta, hunting and camp scenes in Cooch Behar with Lord Lansdowne, staff photographs in Simla, Calcutta and Bombay; views in Pachmarhi (one signed in the negative by Townsend), Hyderabad, Mysore, and Seringapatam.
